The materials used in the construction of this remarkable church, with its double horseshoe arches are onyx, marble and granite and boasts over one thousand columns within the ancient building.

The museums of Cordoba contains the most valuable, historical artifacts that relate to the history of Spain, and cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The most wonderful display of historical artifacts and plant life can be found in the Palacio Museo de Vianna. Here you can view numerous artifacts that are thousands of years old, or visit any one of the fourteen gardens that are so beautifully maintained.
San Sebastian is not a city without history. It has gone through many changes spanning thousands of years. It has been a religious city, a military town, and has been destroyed by fire twice, each time being rebuilt to the splendor that is seen today.
The festivals and celebrations of San Sebastian are the primary draw for tourists. This lively city holds several different events on an annual basis. The San Sebastian Jazz Festival, Jazzaldia, attracts music lovers from all over the world and, now in its fortieth year, usually sees millions of visitors. For six days, the streets of San Sebastian are filled with the sounds of live jazz and the smells of traditional Spanish foods. The San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival also brings in crowds of visitors each year. Besides a variety of excellent movies, visitors can enjoy live music venues, comedy acts, and a variety of other street entertainment.

The culinary capital of Northwest Spain, San Sebastian cuisine has been heavily influenced by the Basques. The beach areas of San Sebastian are a great place to grab a bite to eat or you could try a traditional country style restaurant. One thing for sure, you are in for a culinary experience that will be remembered.
